The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks applications to join a dynamic academic program as the Director of Cardiac Imaging at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Candidates must be a BC/BE cardiologist with advanced imaging training and expertise to lead an integrated approach to cardiovascular imaging and research. Candidates should possess Level III training and a clinical and research focus in at least one imaging modality (echocardiography, nuclear, CT, MRI) with an established track record to mentor junior faculty and fellows.

Responsibilities: |
In this position, the candidate will provide leadership and oversight for our multimodality cardiac imaging group (echocardiography, nuclear, CT, and MRI) and will work collaboratively with our partners in the Department of Radiology. They will be tasked with expanding our research portfolio/group within cardiac imaging, establishing an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship, and mentoring fellows and junior faculty within this area.
In addition to imaging and leadership duties, the position includes providing patient care on the inpatient cardiology services and outpatient clinics. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Required Terminal Degree Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine with a focus on cardiac imaging.
