Job Summary: |
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated administrative colleague to support existing and new priorities in clinical, academic and financial operations. This position will support two Associate Department Administrators and the Director of Finance, including calendar and logistical support, lead strategic initiatives, analyze data and lead meetings representing the department. This position will also serve as a backup to the Executive Assistant in the office of the chair.
Key priorities will include development and management of a clinical FTE database, assist with provider licensing to regional sites, prepare finance reports, support research and development meetings and requests for funding. Responsibilities: |
Responsible for a variety of professional level work across a variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution in support of unit or institutional goals.
- 15% Implements and executes established policies and procedures for a designated work unit to adhere to unit objectives and to align with established strategies
- 45% Schedules logistics and secures resources for a designated work unit to contribute to the day-to-day operational success
- 20% Analyzes data and trends, compiles progress reports, and provides appropriate recommendations or conclusions in support of the assigned operational work unit(s)
- 10% Assists, recommends, and advises staff on unit or program administrative issues, personnel matters, and budgetary problems
- 10% Serves on committees and attends meetings, representing the interests of the unit or program

Minimum $50,000 ANNUAL (12 months) Depending on Qualifications Actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications. This position has been identified as a position that will be located in or regularly access UW Health locations. This position will need to adhere to UW Health policies and affiliated requirements. UW Health requires that anyone (all staff, faculty students, volunteers, and other affiliated individuals) working in or regularly accessing UW Health locations receive the COVID-19 primary vaccination series and first booster.
