Job Summary:
University of Wisconsin Law School is seeking a dynamic energetic individual to join the External Affairs team who would lead and manage the Continuing Legal Education of Wisconsin (CLEW) enterprise and assist the EA team with general alumni outreach.
Responsibilities:
Provides guidance for program planning, implementation, and evaluation, and/or supervises outreach staff. Monitors budget and appropriate funding for programming. Promotes stable and productive relationships between the university and community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences.
25% Supervises the implementation of outreach-program-focused strategic planning initiatives and objectives
20% Develops and implements operating policies and procedures to promote the outreach program in alignment with the strategic plan
20% Monitors the unit or program budget and approves program expenditures
25% Reviews recommendations for and provides input on the design and development of new outreach programs or services
5% Determines outreach program needs and the personnel resource allocation plan
5% May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees

Education:
Preferred Terminal Degree J.D. preferred but not required
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have direct experience planning and executing CLE programming or adult learning opportunities, publication experience, and working with multiple stakeholders; be a self starter; interested in building new programs and projects; have the ability to see opportunities and partnerships useful for CLEW and the Law School. A JD is not required but would be highly desirable.

Full Time: 100% It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
