TRANSPLANT HEPATOLOGIST summary: The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, invites applications to join our faculty as a full-time Transplant Hepatologist. The successful candidate will join the Hepatology Section in the Division and will work on the clinical Hepatology service, and within the UW Liver Transplant Program, providing inpatient and outpatient care along with clinical teaching responsibilities and active involvement in scholarship. Candidates with an interest in developing emerging areas of clinical value (such as palliative and end of life care for patients with liver disease, health of women with liver disease, or liver disease in underserved populations) or capable of enhancing areas of current interest of the Hepatology Section (such as alcohol-associated liver disease, non-alcohol-related fatty liver disease, or liver cancer) are encouraged to apply.
GASTROENTEROLOGY PHYSICIAN SMPH/MEDICINE/GASTROENT Madison
GASTROENTEROLOGY PHYSICIAN summary: The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, seeks candidates for full-time clinical faculty physician positions on the Clinical or CHS tracks (both non-tenure). Candidates with interest in general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, diseases of the pancreas, advanced endoscopic procedures, disorders of swallowing, clinical research and/or other aspects of clinical gastroenterology as practiced in a tertiary care center will be considered.
GI PHYSICIAN SMPH/MEDICINE/GASTROENT Madison
GI PHYSICIAN summary: The UW Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology seeks candidates for clinical faculty positions in Gastroenterology. This is an exciting opportunity to inaugurate a new service for coordinated inpatient and outpatient care at The American Center (TAC). The holders of the positions described here will bring a new service to TAC, and establish a new base for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The physicians based at TAC will provide consultative and standard endoscopic services for inpatients at TAC in daytime hours from Monday to Friday. In addition they will provide outpatient services in both consultative gastroenterology and GI endoscopy, thereby enhancing our services to UW Health patients living in the areas adjacent to TAC. These physicians will also participate in the Division's outreach endeavors, and will attend at other locations such as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Meriter Hospital, and the UW Health Digestive Health Center (DHC). The appointed gastroenterologists will be fully integrated into the professional life of the Division. Duties will also include teaching fellows, medical residents and students, and participation in scholarly activities which may include participation in research.
