AVP FOR STRATEGIC EQUITY, DIVERSITY, INCLUSION & BELONGING ADMINISTRATION summary: The Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement (DDEEA) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking an Assistant Vice Provost (AVP). The AVP - Strategic Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Administration will work closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor/Vice Provost and Chief Diversity Officer to: educate, lead, innovate, and oversee the management of: 1) the campus-wide educational efforts of the Learning Communities for Institutional Change & Excellence (LCICE) program, designed to provide a forum for active participation in dialogue focused on creating working, learning, and teaching environments where everyone is heard, valued and included; 2) the Employee Disability Resources (EDR) Office which serves as the campus wide hub for information on and support for faculty, staff, and applicants for employment who experience barriers through the hiring process, while performing their job responsibilities, accessing employment benefits, or who need an accommodation because of a disability; 3) the Office of Affirmative Action Programming and Planning (OAAPP), which oversees UW–Madison’s strategies, reporting, compliance and oversight related to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action; and 4) provide thought leadership to develop an EDIB office for education, capacity building and professional development as part of the divisional portfolio.

The Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) is a premier college readiness program sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The PEOPLE Program is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Director. The Director will lead the strategic vision and will oversee all aspects of program implementation for college readiness and college success initiatives offered by the program. Responsibilities of this role include providing direct program oversight, budget management, personnel supervision, policy development and compliance, and actively nurturing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The Director of PEOPLE supervises and collaborates with a team of leaders who support the educational aspirations of first generation, low income, and underrepresented students with the goal of college attainment and degree completion. The Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) is a premier college readiness program sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The PEOPLE Program is seeking an individual for the role of Precollege Program Associate Director - Madison. This leadership position provides day-to-day administrative oversight and operations for precollege services located in our Madison precollege administrative office at UW-Madison and partnership sites. This position has direct oversight of staff managing several program areas including: program recruitment and admissions, orientation programming, after-school tutoring sites (Academic Centers for Excellence- ACE), college preparation, advising, academic support, and summer residential programming. The Precollege Program Associate Director - Madison is part of a team of leaders who support the educational aspirations of first generation, low income, and underrepresented students with the goal of college attainment and degree completion.
